Platform One

Even though I tripped on my way in,
I am leaving,
by letting go of last year's clutter
in boxes tightly wrapped with string,
encompassing designer love and empty things.

And as the night makes way for day,
the first rays of the sun come out to play.
My magical journey is about to begin
amidst a dance with a wonderful world,
as it starts all over.

Where we belong

All around me are familiar faces

taking time out from the races,

worn out, young and vibrant faces.

I find it rather uplifting,

I find it rather strange,

for just today

there will be no tomorrow,

only moments that wait patiently

to be cherished for an eternity to come.

All these happy faces in a sanctuary called home,

our very own castle in the sky.

I love being here.

Corner Cafe table on Tuesday,
Art Gallery on Wednesday,
Park bench on Thursday,
Dancing on Friday,
Masked ball on Saturday.

Sunday.
Where we picnic at the edge of the world.
